Another trophy for Tommy. . .
Tommy Sweeney receives the Best Stage Manager Award at the AIMS banquet from National President Winston Johnston, and Vice President Mary Heaney. Tommy won the award for the fourth time for the fantastic set of Jesus Christ Superstar.
Golf Classic, 2009
The winning team from the Golf Classic 2009:

Our annual Golf Classic took place in Thurles Golf Club on Friday May 22nd and proved to be another very worthwhile venture for our Society. Despite the sometimes inclement weather, all those who played agreed that it was a very enjoyable occasion with an excellent and very welcome meal provided in the Clubhouse afterwards.
The winning prizes, sponsored in the main by Michael's Jewellers, Westgate, Thurles amongst others, were presented by Michael and Joan Carew on the night with first prize going to our own Tommy Sweeney, Donal Taylor and Liam Ryan. Congratulations to the triumvirate who have been ever present since we started hosting Classics.
Our thanks to all those who entered teams, or sponsored tee-boxes etc. Thanks to all our sponsors and to Thurles Golf Club for handing over the use of the facilities for the annual classic.
Finally, a big thank you to our own Golf Classic committee for all their hard work before, during and after, the event.
